What I've
built

From research-backed proposals to live event websites — projects that started as challenges and became something real.

The Challenge

When I joined the Entrepreneurship Club's Social Bazaar Planning Committee, I expected to help with coordination and promotion. What I did not expect was to be handed the responsibility of designing and launching an entire event website from scratch — with no existing template, no technical brief, and a live deadline to meet.

The Build

We started on Wix, drawn in by its AI-assisted design tools. However, the free plan restricted the site to a URL that embedded personal names — unsuitable for a public-facing school event. We scrapped it entirely and migrated to Google Sites, starting from scratch with a tighter timeline.

With no formal background in web design, the process became a hands-on exploration of information architecture, UI/UX principles, and content organisation. The final site covered event details, stall listings across food and beverages, games, merchandise and services, and non-profit stalls, alongside a comprehensive FAQ section.

The Outcome

The website launched successfully ahead of Social Bazaar 2025, serving as the central information hub for the event. An exercise in adaptability — navigating platform constraints, learning new tools under time pressure, and delivering a functional, user-friendly product from the ground up.

MeDispensers — GCE A-Level Project Work

The Challenge

Medication non-adherence among the elderly is a persistent healthcare challenge — driven by forgetfulness, physical difficulty handling pills, language barriers, and complex multi-medication routines. Existing solutions address parts of the problem but rarely all of it.

The Solution

My group designed MeDispensers, a conceptual smart medication dispenser with two core innovations. First, medications are stored in prepackaged, sealed, and clearly labelled sachets covering both pill and liquid forms — eliminating the need for manual sorting. Second, a companion smartphone app provides real-time reminders, tracks compliance, and alerts caregivers when a dose is missed.

The project also proposed an educational component at elderly corners to build awareness. Our research included surveys with caregivers and consultation with a healthcare professional to ground the solution in real-world constraints.

The Outcome

MeDispensers is a research-backed conceptual proposal designed to promote independence, comfort, and trust — filling gaps that current medication management systems often leave behind.

Entrepreneurship Club — Digital Content & Branding
Millennia Institute · Ongoing
The Project

As Assistant Marketing Head of the Entrepreneurship Club, I built and managed the club's digital presence from scratch — founding its TikTok page, revamping its Instagram account, redesigning the logo, and establishing a stronger, more cohesive visual identity.

I planned, filmed, edited, and published content across both platforms using trends, humour, and storytelling to grow and engage the club's audience. This gave me hands-on experience in social media strategy, content production, and brand building — skills I continue to apply as Club President.
